TERMS
WEDDING AND EVENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
AVAILABILITY OF FLOWERS
We do not guarantee specific stem types but wherever possible we will include choices from your wish lists. We will work to a colour palette and style based on discussions, emails and photos supplied by you. Please note that this never produces identical flowers or designs to the photos that you send- these are used as an inspiration only.

Fresh flowers are a living product and are dependent on weather conditions, stringent quality checks and influences beyond our control. On exceptionally rare occasions we may have to substitute a specific flower through non-availability. If this happens we reserve the right to source a similar flower but we will do everything within our power to provide a replacement as close to your original requirements as possible in both style and colour. As your flowers will be ordered approximately 14 days prior to the date of your wedding any changes that you may wish to make during this time period will be subject to additional charges.
SAVE THE DATE PAYMENT
We are limited to the amount of weddings and / or events we can fulfill on any one day. A 25% ‘save the date’ deposit is required to secure your wedding/ event flowers; this ensures we do not book any further weddings or events on your chosen date. The deposit is due on acceptance of our quotation and is subtracted from your final balance. However, is it non-refundable in cases of cancellation.
PAYMENT
The remaining balance plus hire deposit is due approximately 4 weeks prior to your wedding/event.
CANCELLATION
If for any reason you decide to cancel your wedding/event, or if you fail to pay your balance by the required date, we reserve the right to cancel your order. If you decide to postpone your wedding/event we will hold your 25% ‘save the date’ deposit and any other money paid by you until a new wedding/event date is booked. The 25% deposit is subtracted from your final balance. If you have paid the balance in full and decide to cancel outside the 4 week period prior to your wedding we will issue you a refund minus the 25% ‘save the date deposit’. If you cancel within the 4 week period prior to your wedding we reserve the right not to issue a full refund.
HIRING TERMS
A damage deposit of £100 will be required to cover any items hired from us. This deposit will be refunded providing hired items are returned to us in original undamaged condition. We will not be held responsible for any injuries or damages sustained, including but not limited to as a result of broken glass, materials or dyes that may be used to colour the water. Liability is limited to the supply of goods only. No responsibility will be accepted for any consequential loss.
DELIVERY AND SET UP
Our estimate includes charges for delivery of your wedding flowers to two specified destinations. Should you request delivery to a third destination this will incur an additional charge. Please check the flowers carefully and ensure any discrepancies are communicated to us within 30 minutes of delivery.
PHOTOGRAPHS
Dorset Flowers reserves the right to take photographs of flowers and the setting prior to the wedding. These may be used for advertising media purposes.
MOCK BOUQUETS
We are more then happy to provide you with a mock up of your bouquet if you wish please enquire for further details.

COPYRIGHT
Any mock bouquets made for you along with any designs and photographs of our work we allow you to view and / or take away with you are subject to copyright laws (The Copyright and Patents Act 1988), and therefore you are
not permitted to show them to or allow to be copied or used by any other florists or floral designer without the express consent of Dorset Flowers.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
Accepting our estimate and paying the 25% ‘save the date deposit’ is deemed to be agreeing to the above terms and conditions.
